I’m a 30 year old stay at home mom. I live in North Dakota with my husband, and my two boys. K is almost 3, and A is just over one. I have always wanted to stay at home with my children. In fact, when I was in college, I had trouble choosing a major because I knew that what I wanted to do wasn’t a choice. I have a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and middle level (middle school) education with areas of concentration in math and social studies. I also have a master’s in special education with a general strategist credential. In 2005, I found out that I was pregnant with K, and at the end of the school year I resigned from my job to stay home with him. I have been at home for 4 years now, and I am so blessed every day to be able to have the choice to stay with my little guys.

As you can tell from the majority of my posts, I am a breastfeeding advocate. I was breastfed for about 1.5 years as a child. I am currently tandem nursing my boys. In my situation, I believe that child led weaning is the best choice for us.

In addition to blogging about breastfeeding and raising boys close in age, I also blog about my reading lists, cloth diapering, asthma, life goals, healthy living, becoming more “green” as a family, and anything else that I find interesting and worth sharing.

Thanks for visiting!
