I try not to wear bras, if God wanted us to wear them, they'd grow on trees. :) The nice thing about winter is layers can be worn when going out, so who would know what's going on underneath. I really like my nursing bras that are not made anymore, so I'm not any help. Your family sounds fabulously supportive. I'm so glad you appreciate them. For any bra, 90% of your support should come from the band, not the shoulder straps. If your band isn't tight enough, consider going down a band size. That helped me tremendously this year! My band size has gone down 4 inches since Ladybug was born. Thankfully, no one asks me when I plan to wean Ladybug. My sister only once has expressed a negative opinion of extended breastfeeding. But she hasn't said anything since. For the saggy bras, I buy the Goddess brand (on jms.org) and buy about 4 a year, because they get stretched out. Then to nurse I pull my shirt up but pull DOWN the tank top (instead of lifting up). Keeps my side warm. :-) The tank top has to be stretchy for this to work. Do Bravados work? Those are usually great. For winter wear, I put a spaghetti strap tank top under my shirt. Then to nurse I pull my shirt up but pull DOWN the tank top (instead of lifting up).
