The only babywearing folks that I know locally are from La Leche League. i don't know that I've ever seen anyone around town using a baby carrier at all. I love my sling, and I love my mei tai. i haven't quite mastered the MT yet though. I have my MT which is good but she LOVES to see what is going on and thats not so easy in a front carry with the BH and I am not quite up to getting her on my back on my own yet. She likes to be carried around on my hip too but I only have a Hotsling and I seem to have *ahem* "grown" since I had her so it doesn't fit anymore! Hope you are able to get yourself a sling you like! I need a new sling too!
