Have you read Mothering Your Nursing Toddler? It's been a long time since I my kids were toddlers but I remember it being really helpful.

Homeschooling books: My favorite was Family Matters: Why Homeschooling Makes Sense by David Guterson. That's the book that clinched it for my husband and me, that we were homeschooling.

Parenting books: Playful Parenting by Leonard Cohen, Tears and Tantrums by Aletha Solter, and Raising Boys by Steve Biddulph.

Oops, I sort of barged in and started tossing books around without introducing myself, how gauche of me. Hi. I'm Ali from Worducopia, homeschooling mom of 2 boys, now 8 and 11.

I was just discussing the Twilight series with some friends today. One of them had just gone to the movie and was discussing it with someone that had read the book. The overall concensus was that if you liked the movie, you'd love the book...so the movie must be good. But I don't watch movies so it doesn't matter to me. Personally, I never got into the whole vampire thing so I don't know if I'd like them but my curiosity is piqued.
Boys? Girls? For boys, which I have 4 of, I would recommend Bringing Up Boys - James Dobson, hands down. It is the best...chock full of goodies. Sorry, can't help you in the girl department. LOL
I read a really good book during my last pregnancy (almost 5 yrs ago)...think it was a Girlfriend's Guide....not sure. But it had good breastfeeding info. I'll pass on the info IF i can remember it.
Good Luck!

I'm reading, or trying to read, a few marriage books right. It's hard for me to get a book read these days. Ladybug gets up when I do, takes a short nap. And by the time she goes to bed, I'm exhausted.

Anyway, I stopped by to tag you for a book meme. Perfect! Stop by my blog for details.

I am waiting on my new Stephen King book. For some reason reading horror books before bed is my thing. Always enjoyed it and never have bad dreams from it, even when I was a kid.

Right now its a little too busy with finals looming to read at night. Usually I am asleep before my head is even halfway to the pillow, assuming the children allow it.

I will check for more comments on breastfeeding books because soon Pete's gonna go crazy because Ivy won't take a bottle while I gone at class...she wouldn't even take it from me when I got home. Hopefully one of the books suggested will help me out.
